England - Dover to London

After lunch we continued our self-guided walking (and train) tour around London. We passed the Banqueting House built by James 1. This is is the only remaining section of the Palace of Whitehall where English monarchs lived from 1530 to 1698. I am sure much more elaborate entertaining was undertaken here than our Fawlty Towers experience but maybe not so much laughter.
